Take your German beyond the basics: book appointments, explain a problem, talk about your past and hold real conversations at work and in everyday life.

Learn Real German A2 is Book 2 of the Kognixr German Language Series and continues directly from Learn Real German A1. Vocabulary is chosen because it is genuinely useful in Germany, grammar is explained only as far as you need it, and dialogues are written the way people actually speak.

Inside this book

• 24 units in five parts: Building Everyday Confidence, Living in Germany, Health & Personal Life, Work & Professional Communication, and Germany & Everyday Administration
• The same five-step cycle in every unit: Learn, Understand, Practise, Speak and Use, followed by a unit review
• Key A2 grammar in use: the Perfekt and common Präteritum forms, modal verbs, connectors, comparisons and more
• Real situations: shopping and returns, transport, the doctor, the landlord, job conversations and German bureaucracy
• Checkpoints, vocabulary reviews and a complete answer key with model responses

Explanations are in English. When you finish, continue with Learn Real German B1.

Ideal for learners with basic German who live or work in Germany, international employees, and self-study learners.
